Electronic Learning

E-Learning means the delivery of a learning, training or education program by electronic means.
It integrates the use of a computer or an electronic device (e.g. a mobile phone) to provide training and educational or learning material.

E-Learning often involves a greater and more complex variety of equipment than online training or education, for as the name implies, "online" means using the Internet or an Intranet. CD-ROMs and DVDs are regularly used to provide the necessary learning materials.

E-Learning can be "on demand" and overcomes timing, attendance and travel difficulties.
These factors often present hurdles for employees and students alike, who have to be able to work and learn away from their businesses and/or educational institutions.
