Mobile (Micro) Learning

M-Learning is a new and innovative way of learning in today's mobile society.

M-Learning (Mobile Learning) is essentially E-Learning with the added benefit of mobility, utilising technology such as mobile phones, PDAs and mp3 players.

Whereas E-Learning facilitates external learning, M-Learning allows learning to occur away from a computer which has to be plugged into a wired connection.
This makes M-Learning especially attractive for occupational learning, such as training of field based staff or simply as a means of keeping field staff connected with their office colleagues and vice versa.

M-Learning should be seen as complimentary to both traditional and E-Learning. Whilst we believe that it will never replace traditional learning methods, M-learning can add many benefits for employers and their staff, as well as teachers and their students, when implemented correctly.
